Brilliant floral print chiffon, full length dress by Chester Weinberg, one of the great American designers! He was renowned for his love of fabric and based the design on the fabric choice rather then vice versa. You can almost picture him looking at the beautiful long lines of the pattern on this and deciding they would best be displayed on a dress with long and lean proportions. The dress is as stunning and bright as it appears in the photos and is even better in person! The outermost layer of chiffon has huge pink and coral flowers custom screened onto it from top to bottom. Brilliant pops of green are worked in amongst them for maximum contrast. The bodice buttons to below the waist for a shirt like feel with cuffed sleeves for the perfect finish. It is a beautiful, dramatic piece and in excellent condition.

Fully lined in a cream silky rayon and closes with buttons down the front. Each sleeve buttons to close at the cuff. Note there is a older, well done repair to the skirt near the hem where a heel went through the fabric. Priced accordingly.
